At Camp Erdman, we are always think of ways to make the camp better. Whether this is adapting new curriculum, teaching a new activity, or learning a new game, our aim is to provide the best experience for every person who comes to camp.

For the past month, two staff members, Cody and Lucas, have spent their time outside of teaching environmental education to design and build a human foosball pit. For those of you wondering, it’s exactly what you think it is. They’ve taken the classic tabletop version and made it into a life size game. For players, this means a little bit of soccer and a whole lot of fun.

Much like the original version, players stand across ropes with each team facing the direction of their goal. Together, players must work together to move the ball forward, and ultimately into the goal to score.

At Camp Erdman, we obviously love human foosball because it’s a fun game to play. But more importantly, it hones in on something we are big fans of here at camp—teamwork. Whether it’s human foosball, the Odyssey, or any other activity, our goal is to foster a team-oriented environment of friendship, camaraderie and confidence.
